BACWWAN – Building And Construction Workmen Welfare Association of Nigeria (BACWWAN) is a non-governmental and non-profit based in Lagos-Nigeria.

It is a humanitarian organization that works to empower builders and create a platform that will give them the opportunity to grow through education, quality training, practical internship placement and establish them to offer quality job delivery, high professionalism that meets global building construction standards and professional ethics to promote high-quality in-service implementation.

Building And Construction Workmen Welfare Association of Nigeria (BACWWAN) was registered as an NGO at the Cooperate Affairs Commission (CAC) under the act….. Since its inception, the Organisation has trained over 2000 students Online and Offline and have sponsored two certification levels, more than 20 students in various Building and construction skills i.e Plumbing, Electrical installation, etc

BACWWAN collaborates with several multi-nationals in the private sector in skills training and empowerment for the unemployed Nigerian youths. Some of these organizations to name a few are: Schneider electric, Jaquar, Instagram etc BACWWAN leverages the infrastructures of its training partner Builders hub Vocational academy. An organization that is accredited by the federal government of Nigeria (Ministry of Labour), The Lagos State Government, Ministry of Education, The National Board for Technical Education(NABTEB). To name a few.


To be the largest empowerment platform for builders that promotes Workmen’s welfare and improve building construction work standards.


To register and empower members to be professionals in the Building Industry. To also be the largest recruitment organization for professional builders in Africa To be a stakeholder in providing solutions to the building and construction circle
